“BELL’E PRONTA” scamorza is a stretched curd cow’s milk cheese, typical of southern Italy.
It is already cut in slice, ideal for cooking on a very hot griddle or in the microwave, pan. It forms a delicious crust on the outside, while the inside melts. It is incredibly easy, quick and good, and when you cook it in this way you can top it with ham, mushrooms, potatoes, dried tomatoes and many other ingredients. Served with some good crusty bread it makes a delightful meal in 5 minutes!
Try it with white or smoked scamorza, even if you are lactose intolerant you can enjoy this cheese also with baked pastas and pizzas.
